This is a ritual mirror designed for home worship. The central circular portion is said to reflect thoughts and help in self-realisation.

The circular portion is surrounded by a rim. The foliage pattern gives it the appearance of a flame. The stand is designed as an inverted lotus, adding to the sanctity of the mirror.

This is possibly made using lost-wax casting. The central mirror portion is convex rather than flat.

It is about 13.5 cm tall, and going by the floral design, this is from Nepal.

This website has three other such mirrors: Kannadi Bimba from Kerala, Melong from Tibet/Nepal and one from Nepal. The concept of reflecting thoughts to encourage positive thinking appeals to me.
