Lakshmi is identified by the lotus buds in her upper hands. The lower hands are in Abhaya (protection) and Varada (boon-bestowing) mudra.
Some of the authors identify her as Vira-Lakshmi.
Lakshmi is the Goddess of Wealth and is a consort of Vishnu. Note the breast-band (Katchbandha) identifying Lakshmi. She is sitting on an inverted lotus-pedestal which in-turn is supported by a rectangular base.
Stand-alone Lakshmi Vigraha is not very common.
This Vigraha is most likely from Tamil Nadu. It is well-worshipped Vigraha and may date to the seventeenth century or earlier. It is about 4.5 cm in height.
